The Beginners class is for everyone who is at the absolute beginning of their editing journey. It starts right at a point where you would open Photoshop for the very first time. This class explains all the basics you need to start you composite art journey. You will learn about the layout of photoshop, the tools panel and how to resize an image and its resolution. I will show you how to use image adjustments and colours. We will explore the basics of using layers and blending modes, how to make a selection and how to create masks and what to use them for. There is a bonus section at the end of the video that will show you how to use the Type tool and shapes, what they can be used for and how to add effects to them. The 'Next Steps - Intermediate editing' class is the ideal follow on from the beginners class, but also perfect for anyone who already has a good grasp of the basics of composite art. In this course I introduce you to creating a workspace to make your editing process easier and faster, how to clean up your original image and expand your background, how to work with a grey screen, how to add a background to your image and what to look out for. You will dive into the wonderful world of blending modes, dodging and burning, adding light and glow and so much more... There is a bonus at the end showing you how to use my method of editing if you shoot on green screen. Included are a bunch of resource files and the link to download them is in the video.

In this first 'Advanced' class we are picking up the pace a bit and explore more tools to use while creating composite art. It follows on from my 'Next Steps' class and is also aimed at people who have a firm grasp of layers, blending modes and masks. In this instalment we will look at frequency separation, the mixer brush tool, adding objects, learning how to work with perspective and using the vanishing point tool. In the bonus we will take a brief look at final refinements and working with third party software. Included are resource files, which can be downloaded via a link in the video.
